1970 Jul. 1971. Founded.
Nov. 1973. Developed South Korea‘s first car clock.
Apr. 1976. Converted into an corporation named JEOKGO Precision Corporation.
1980 Jul. 1983. Changed the company name to Jeco Corporation.

1980 Jan. 1986. Developed a cigarette lighter for automobiles.
Developed valves for exhaust gas, engine, brake, and transmission
May 1987. Established a research lab affiliated with the Company under the direction of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Dec. 1987. Awarded the Order of Industrial Service Merit (Bronze Tower) at the 1st Korea Science Awards.
May 1988. Developed an electronic sensor for automobiles
Dec. 1988. Awarded the Busan Industrial Grand Prize (technology section).
Mar. 1989. Entered into a technical partnership with the US BEEDE for combination meters.
May 1989. Developed a valve for exhaust gas recirculation.
Nov. 1989 Awarded $10 Million Export Tower on the Day of Export.
1990 Feb. 1991. Entered into a technical partnership with Japan’s Tosok for solenoid valve for automatic transmission.
Aug. 1991. Entered into a technical partnership with Japan’s Jeco for 3-Meter for Jeeps.
Jul. 1992. Completed the construction of Gimhae Division 1.
Sep. 1992. Selected as Company of Outstanding 100 PPM Quality Performance 1992 by Hyundai Motor Company.
Oct. 1992. Developed a solenoid valve for automatic transmission.
Feb. 1993. Developed an ABS wheel sensor.
Dec. 1993. Registered with KOSDAQ.
Jan. 1995. Developed a suspension solenoid valve (ECS).
Dec. 1995. Achieved ISO 9001 certification.
Feb. 1996. Completed the construction of Gimhae Division 2.
Oct. 1996. Entered into a technical partnership with Japan’s TNJ for carbon canister.
Nov. 1996. Entered into a technical partnership with Japan’s Aisan for mechanical fuel pump.
Dec. 1996. Entered into a technical partnership with Germany’s Simens for electronic-type electric wiring system. Received the Excellence Award at the Labor-Management Harmony Awards (Minister of Labor).
Jul. 1997. Developed parts of automobile evaporation gas control system.
Sep. 1997. Entered into a technical partnership with Japan’s Jeco for automobile multimeter.
Feb. 1998. Developed an electronically controlled EGR valve.
Mar. 1999. Developed a digital multimeter.
Jul. 1999. Developed an electronic EGR valve.
Dec. 1999. Achieved QS-9000 certification (Korea Quality Assurance).
2000 Apr. 2000. Changed the company name to Unick Corporation.
Jul. 2000. Selected as Enterprise with Outstanding Quality Competitiveness (Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy).
Jun. 2001. Developed a solenoid valve for next-generation automatic transmission.
Mar. 2002. Developed a coil-type sensor for measuring the degradation of automobile engine oil
Jul. 2002. Developed the control valve of evaporative emissions control system.
Aug. 2002. Established Qingdao Unick Parts Co., Ltd. in China.
Dec. 2002. Developed a next-generation fuel system control module.
Jan. 2003. Developed an electro-hydraulic control module for next-generation automatic transmission.
May 2003. Awarded the Presidential Medal of Industrial Service on the Day of Invention.
Mar. 2005. Achieved ISO 14000 certification (DEKRA).
Apr. 2005. Achieved ISO/TS 16949 certification (DEKRA).
Aug. 2005. Completed the construction of Asan Plant.
Jan. 2006. Awarded the Grand Prize at the 4th 100 Best Patented Products Awards (KIPO Commissioner).
